In less than a week is a year since untamed water leaked through my ceiling furthered by negligence and ignorance by the systems and organisations in charge of such cases which made the Grenfell Tower Tragedy not so much of a surprise. Almost a year on and my ceiling remains scattered, damaged, and untouched. The system which would be better off being called The Dysfunction made critical errors in continuum that throughout the pointlessly and aimlessly arduous complaint procedure, they had to admit to every point I had made. Even the last complaint outcome they sent me contained errors which included an unfinished paragraph. It was introducing a point, but ended there. Then even their insurance messed up and initiated a voluntary investigation of their own. Damaged space, damaged health and sanity of mine, and money I was instructed to spend guaranteeing reimbursement is nowhere in sight. Throughout this ordeal, given the nature of the issue and risk to safety, I couldn’t see much of my Dara. We didn’t know then that we only had a month left. How will you reimburse the time lost with my baby?
